Microlaser Peel
Who is a candidate for a Microlaser Peel?
If your skin is showing signs of an aging and an active lifestyle including sun damage, wrinkles, scars, acne scars, then you may be a candidate for a microlaser peel. You may consider a microlaser peel if you need something more than microdermabrasion or chemical peels.
What is a Microlaser Peel?
The microlaser peel is an intra-dermal laser peel that precisely ablates the outermost layers of the skin. The procedure is individually tailored to the nature of the condition being treated.
How many treatments will I need?
The procedure is typically repeated 2 to 4 times, spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart, but more peels can be done to achieve the desired result.
How long is the healing process?
Healing takes 3 to 4 days. Your skin will look and feel as if you have a sunburn. You will experience sloughing or peeling on the 2nd or 3rd post op day and the redness will begin to fade and can easily be covered with makeup on the 4th day.
